Senior Associate Responsibilities & Program Highlights:

  • Direct responsibilities in all aspects of the private equity investment process including investment selection and due diligence, business and market analysis, and transaction documentation
  • Ownership and participation in key initiatives at portfolio companies including financial performance analysis, strategy implementation, system and process improvement, operational effectiveness, sales and go-to-market activities, and M&A processes
  • Work closely with portfolio companies and their executive management teams, including CEOs and CFOs, in driving business improvements and value creation initiatives
  • Exposure to investment opportunities across industry sectors, including Technology, Consumer, Healthcare & Industrials
  • Apprenticeship-style learning with direct access to Peak Rock’s senior leadership, participation in firm-wide investment committee meetings, and an entrepreneurial approach to driving change in the portfolio
  • Top performing Senior Associates have the opportunity to be directly promoted to Vice President

 

Professional Qualifications:

  • 4+ year combined experience of 2+ years of private equity experience and/or 1-3+ years of investment banking, management consulting, or related financial services experience
  • Proven track record of managing new investment processes including due diligence, primary research, valuation, and investment material preparation
  • Hands-on experience with portfolio company operations, value creation initiatives, and a willingness to travel regularly to company sites
  • Analytical rigor and financial modeling skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong communications skills and high degree of maturity
  • High GPA and Bachelor’s degree from a leading college/university
  • Strong SAT/ACT scores (1400+ or 31+) and professional references
